Hi everyone and welcome to our little website!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

My son and I started making cards during lockdown to make us happy and because I needed a fun project to help with home schooling – yes I admit I struck off many a ‘school’ day to just play with pens and get messy!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I have always been creative and used to make cards for a company in London when I lived in the big smoke. My son has always loved drawing and is something that will keep his attention for a lot longer than maths will do!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We started by drawing ‘Gerry the Giraffe’ – named after my dear dad and because giraffes are my sisters favourite animal!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Noah loved working out how to draw him but wanted to use lots of colour instead. We then progressed to a hippo and a penguin (my mums favourite animal!).<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Each animal had a heart to accompany them – because each animal is made with love. These are now known as our ‘signature hearts’.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We now had 3 animals under our belt and Noah wanted to give them names and their own back story! This was very funny!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Soon the Colourful Critters were born – a rainbow collection of handmade printed cards – 43 animals to date……..<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Luckily I still had a lot of my materials from my card making days so it was an eco friendly project to get going with.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

In the first two weeks of announcing on social media that we were selling our cards we made 600 cards……..what?!!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We have made connections with local suppliers that sell recycled card and envelopes so the cards you are buying have a minimal carbon footprint…..yey!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We are more than happy to create new animals for you so please drop us a line and we will create!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We have also started making framed prints so please get in touch and we will make something wonderful for you.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
